Original Anime Cel & Background from Trapp Family Story featuring Maria von Trap

Original anime celluloid and background from The Swiss Family Robinson featuring Maria von Trapp moments after she was asked by Georg Von Trapp to teach the children some sense of nationalism and care for the country.

This cel was used in episode 38 which was released in Japanese television in 1991.

This rare piece is more than 25 years old and is in an excellent condition and comes with a watercolor background that was used in the same episode.

Trapp Family Story (トラップ一家物語Torappu Ikka Monogatari) is a Japanese anime series by Nippon Animation.

It was based on the memoir The Story of the Trapp Family Singers by Maria von Trapp, which has also inspired the world-famous musical The Sound of Music.

While many things were changed from the original story, unlike other adaptations such as The Sound of Music, the children's names are all correct in this version.
